Welcome everyone, and happy birthday to my mother. Today, November 17th is her birthday, happy birthday, Ma. You guys would love her, everyone does. She is a pistol. What else is going on? We have Sagittarius season coming next Tuesday, I believe, Wednesday is the New Moon, and of course next Thursday is American Thanksgiving if you celebrate that.
How was your Full Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse? I have to say, if the feedback I got from last week’s episode is any indication, y’all spent it severing the hell out of some unwanted bonds. I was not prepared to hear from so many witches after that episode, but I’m glad that it did seem to give some folks the little goose they may have needed to enforce those boundaries.
Well here we are in November! I hope everyone had a fun Halloween and a great Samhain. We also have the full moon and a solar eclipse this coming Tuesday, November 8th so that’s exciting as well. We are cruising right on through the holiday season, aren’t we. It’ll be Yule before we know it, my gods.
Welcome to Scorpio season, everyone. How is it treating you so far? I’ll tell you this: I woke up from a dead sleep at like 2am on Saturday, the first day of Scorpio season and could not get my ass back to sleep. And I’ve concluded that this is just how Scorpio season arrives. It comes in like a wrecking ball.
It is nearly upon us, everyone! Samhain approaches, are we ready? I’ve been ready since last Samhain, you know that. I also have to thank everyone who has purchased my book, Love & Light Blood & Bone, you guys are amazing. And if you’ve taken the time to write a review or even just give it a rating, I could just kiss you on the mouth. This community of witches is so special and I know I’ve said it before but I’m so grateful that I get to talk to you and communicate with you, either through emails, DMs or on the forums. I don’t live in a place that has a huge witchcraft community, but you witches are my coven.
I am thrilled as hell to announce my new book, Love & Light, Blood & Bone: Magick for Witches Who Live in the Real World, available now on Amazon and in the Kindle Store. It’s been in the works for a while and it’s been KILLING me to keep my mouth shut, but it’s finally here! I’m like a real grown up writer!
Hello, witches, I hope you all enjoyed the Hunter’s Moon this past weekend. There is something so special about the full moon in the month of October. It’s just so zesty, isn’t it? I know it’s mostly psychological, because we’re so much more attuned during this time of year, but it doesn’t matter why it’s so special. I’m just enjoying the extra magick.
Welcome to October, darlings! This is the season of the crone, this is horror movie, sweater weather, apple picking, pumpkin spice, scented candle, new book season. This is Netflix binging, Practical Magic, fun-size Snickers, Hocus Pocus 2, build a fire, ancestor altar season. God, I love this shit.

In this cup, I see some troubles and setbacks in the short term, but they’re not going to be huge problems (umbrella). I see a warning not to get discouraged by this or jump from one thing to the next (frog). This cup is saying to stick with the plan and do the hard work (hammer). It’s also saying to lean on friends/social circle for advice and encouragement (butterfly). Then in the long term, I see things finally coming full circle with sudden and very fast growth (mushroom, ring). There is an eventual an explosion of progress that sets everything up to sort of be on cruise control (skate).
