Hello everyone, and happy New Year. This is the last episode of 2022, and the next time we speak, it’ll be 2023. I know that we did the New Year’s episode last week, and that’s because I always like to do holiday and sabbat episodes in advance of the actual day because in the event that there’s a ritual or a spell that we talk about that you might want to try, it just gives folks a little extra time to plan for it.
I am thrilled as hell to announce my new book, Love & Light, Blood & Bone: Magick for Witches Who Live in the Real World, available now on Amazon and in the Kindle Store. It’s been in the works for a while and it’s been KILLING me to keep my mouth shut, but it’s finally here! I’m like a real grown up writer!
Well we made it to July! I think we need to give ourselves some recognition for that alone. It hasn’t necessarily been a smooth ride, but everyday is an opportunity to rewrite, or at least revise, our story. This is something I’ve been working on myself, this is something we should all probably always have in the back of our minds to some extent. And yes, it’s not reasonable or realistic or healthy to constantly be grinding, grinding, grinding, constantly focused on self improvement, never giving ourselves a break, and I swear if I see another meme talking about you have the same number of hours in a day as Beyonce… I’m gonna lose it.
Hello, everybody, and thank you so much for joining me today. We have just enjoyed the full moon a couple days ago and I’ve got my moon water ready to go for the solstice on Tuesday. I’m going to be celebrating in a larger way over this weekend with food, some friends, and a fire. The solstice proper falls on a work night for me and I actually have a meeting that evening, I am so annoyed. When there’s a sabbat, I usually just take the day off. But it is what it is, and I’ll be celebrating early.
